YSL Rouge Volupté Candy Glaze

Glossy lipsticks are taking the beauty world by storm right now

and to be honest I've always been a fan - I'd pick them over a lipgloss any day and that's because they're less mess but still have that high shine finish - a lot more forgiving, I'd say. These lipsticks often are much more hydrating on the lips offering the benefits of a balm.

I just posted a Reel of these lipsticks on Instagram and as my love for YSL RV lipsticks goes back to when I first started blogging in 09. I felt it was only right I dedicated a little space for them here.

Scenic Brown 14

This shade is *chefs kiss* for all my warmer complexion babes, it's a great nude if you have pigmented lips and/or prefer brown based nude lipsticks. I was so pleasantly surprised with the colour pay off of this lipstick without a liner. These are so comfortable on the lips and have that nostalgic scent which just takes me back to when I first fell in love with these lipsticks. I must say, with a liner this lipstick is such a VIBE and I just know it's going to be a staple this A/W.

Showcasing Nude 15

If you're more of a pink based nude lover then this is so pretty. It's a great balance of pink and peach tones without being TOO Barbz, if you catch my drift. It veers more on the soft dusty rose side and can be worn with or without liner. I often like to wear a pink based lipstick when I'm going for a minimal make up look - I feel like these tones works well with fresh faced make up.

You have to admit, nothing beats the packaging of a YSL lipstick - so sleek and boujee! Although do any of you remember when they used to have little mirrors on the top? That was such a vibe - Bring it back I'd say.

Anyways if you're on the fence about these, I'd say they're certainly worth the splurge - The ultimate treat.

They're almost always sold out but I've found them in stock HERE
