Did you ever think a skin tint would be my most reached for product of the Summer? Absolutely not.
I'm notoriously a full coverage girl and I've been that way since I can remember. I'd never feel satisfied or confident enough in my skin to opt for lighter coverage when it came down to base products. That was until I discovered the L'Oreal True Match Nude Plumping Tinted Serum .
This product has honestly been such a great discovery for my everyday make up routine. It's light on the skin but offers a really even, flawless finish. I like that the coverage is buildable and the price tag doesn't break the bank.
Can we talk packaging and practicality? I don't know what it is about make up products with pipets, they're messy and I almost never use them as intended, instead I wipe the product on my face and blend away with my fingers. I find this is the best way to use the product.
I find it rare to find a skin tint that can actually offer coverage but this one does it in such a natural way. I'm always a little skeptical when make up products claim to have skin care benefits but this does offer 1% pure hyaluronic acid. As we all know by now hydration is essential for our skin, so I'm not complaining - I'll take it!
I initially wanted to try the Maybelline skin tint but I found the undertones of the L'Oreal worked better with my complexion.
I use a shade 5/6 Medium and although it's a touch warmer than my skin, it blends in perfectly.
