The Lip Combo I'm LOYAL to!

If there's one thing I know, one thing I can FULLY say with my CHEST it's that.. If you're here you are more than certainly waiting for an updated lip combo post. 

I know for a fact that all my lip combo posts and videos were most consumed content back in the day! I still have women reach out these days and tell me I inspired them to buy a certain lipstick. One of my most joyful memories was when I was 26 (Holy F that's almost 10 years ago but I remember it like it was yesterday!) I was in NYC, walking opposite Madison Sq Gardens on my way to meet a friend and I saw this super cool, trendy girl - I remember thinking her outfit was sick, as she was walking towards me. Then she starting jumping around and screaming 'OMG I watch you on YouTube.' I could not believe it, here's me so far from home and someone recognises. Straight away I was like GIRL what's on your lips and she proceeded to tell me 'It's MAC Nightmoth Lip Liner I bought it because you recommended it!' Honestly it was one of the most incredible moments ever. 

Anyways story aside, let's talk LIPS! 

I think it may have been because of lockdown and not having the same access to products and testing products the way we once knew that has influenced my everyday lip combo. I genuinely can't steer away from this combo, as soon as I put it on, I feel like me. Both of the products are from the drugstore - YES! Can you believe it? ME? I swear nothing competes and honestly many of you are probably aware of this product but it's.. * DRUM ROLL* 

NYX LONDON - YES! The soft matte lip cream has become my HOLY GGGGRAIL. When I say Grail I genuinely believe I have about 7 on the go - One in the car, one in the kitchen, one on my coffee table, a few in bags, one in my make up room. Seriously it's all I need - well obviously the lip liner too. 

and that is.. 

The LA Girl Chocolate Lip Liner I think I've been using this for about 4 years now. Again I have multiple on the go because I'm forever using and loosing them. 

This lip is honestly the lowest maintenance lip I've ever applied. I literally put it on and forget about it and most of the time it lasts the duration of the day. It's the best nude against my complexion and I genuinely feel like its the perfect balance of brown and pink tones. It's so brown girl friendly and you know, well you should that there's no gatekeeping here.

Also can we ignore how battered my products look, I guess you can say this is a true representation of how well loved they are.
