Is this viral cleansing balm worth the hype?

I have no shame in admitting that TikTok beauty recommendations have me in a chokehold

Whilst I don't know how reliable it is taking advice from 20 something year olds at my grown age of ThirtyTHRIVE, there have been some real gems that I've discovered and I feel like at this point it's time to literally start afresh with all the products I'm LOVING and USING

INKEY list to me is another brand similar to the Ordinary and don't get me wrong I love The Ordinary products - Affordable and effective skincare. If you know me, you'll probably know that with my love buying skincare and being sent products - I've definitely tried my fair share.

I remember when cleansing balms were a relatively 'new' concept (Yep showing my age!) and I have always gravitated towards them. They are the only product I find successful at removing all my make up and ensuring my skin remains hydrated.

There are so many positives about the INKEY list Oat Cleansing Balm - Firstly the price? It retails for £10.99 for 150ml of product. Secondly the tube, WOW - What a huge difference this makes, I love a balm cleanser but typically they come in a jar/pot and I forever feel like I'm wasting product, the ease of this is honestly a godsend. I really wondered whether the consistency would be as rich and luxurious as I like my balm based cleansers to be, let's just say it didn't disappoint!

Oat is such an underrated ingredient in skincare, it offers the skin hydration, it's anti inflammatory and soothing so ideal if you experience any skin sensitivity.

You apply this cleanser directly to the skin with/without make up on and as you begin to massage it in, it breaks down all traces of make up even waterproof eye products. One huge fail for me and cleansers in general, is when it comes to the eye area. I suffer with irritation, a lot of them burn my eyes and leave me with that annoying cloudy eye feeling - trust me, NOT the one! For me it's always the biggest test when it comes down to cleansers, I'm happy to report this product DOESN'T do that - YAY!

I have forever stood by this statement - I love wearing make up but there's no better feeling than removing it at the end of the day. The INKEY List Oat Cleanser is a win all around for me.

Lots of Love
