Greetings from Dubai! (You knew I had to make a trip back to see the new year in the right way!) As it’s New Year’s Eve Eve, I thought I would fill you in on some of the products that will making it onto the New Years Make Up Menu.
I can't quite believe that I am sharing my December Favourites with you, how crazy? This year has gone far too quickly, it's scary! I never usually do a December Favourites, it's often just a yearly round up but this year I decided why not?
When I look back on my 2014 beauty favourites the Smashbox Full Exposure Palette is WAY up there - it was definitely one of my most used products of the year. I love theneutral and warm tones with the mix of shimmer and matte shadows. When the secondinstalment from Smashbox landed on my desk, excitement was definitely an understatement - I present to you Double Exposure.
What better way to celebrate Christmas eve EVE, than with these beautiful products from theD&G Collector's Edition. I literally squealed when these products landed on my desk, the packaging and the productsepitomise luxury - they are seriously special!
I know I'm not the only one who gets lost in the skin care and beauty aisles of Boots. December is one of my favourite months of the year, I put it down to all the festivities - However all the late nights of the party season definitely take their toll on my skin.
I never realised the impact a good hair dryer can have on the way you style your hair. For as long as I can remember I've used a cheap, unbranded hairdryer and I've always thought as long as it dried my hair, it was all good - Wrong!
It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas - Whether you celebrate it or not there's something special about this time of the year. It has me wanting to whip out the Santa rouge lipstick and find the RIGHT red to paint my nails with - Well the search for that shade can now stop!
I still get excited by new MAC launches and when this one landed on my desk yesterday, I couldn't quite contain my excitement! I rushed upstairs took photos straight away so I could instantly have a play.
November feels like it was a whirlwind month that may be because I was hardly here for it but it still it came and went so quickly - Now how scary is it that we are currently in the LAST month of 2014? Sorry that this favourites is a little late, you know I've been all over the place - ha!
I'm finallysat at home in my onesie after a month of travelling, from Dubai to London (for a day) then Berlin - I'm happy to be home! (For now) The last week in Dubai was filled with food (standard), Lots of Laura, fountains & farewells!
I'm sure many of you know this, but for the last year or so Kevyn Aucoin's Celestial Powder has been my ultimate, holy-grail highlighter! I adore everything about it and that's still the case BUT I have to share some serious blog loving for the Balm's Mary-Lou Manizer highlighter.
I wanted to do one of thosechit chatty posts and catch up with you all! Firstly I hope you guys are all well, I know I kind of fell off the blogwagon in November but I hope you kept up with the videos! I had initially planned and prepared all my posts for the month and wanted to keep things really consistent - but I don't like feeling that everything needs to be so regimented, at the end of the day this blog is still my baby and I like to keep things relevant and (hopefully still) enjoyable for you all - I'm strongly against blogging just for the sake of it! I hate not being able to give my honest opinion on things and especially with beauty trialling products and forming opinions on them takes time - Hence I slowed down!
