Since my recent trip to Dubai my skin has definitely been a lot warmer and I generally prefer my skin looking bronzed/golden - I love a good tan! The only downside, is that lately I have struggled to find the perfect nude lip colour to compliment my tan. My usual holy grail (MAC's - Modesty) is just way too light on me at the moment. I have been mixing all my lipsticks lately to make them more wearable and I was just lacking that perfect lip colour.

Last week I was in Space NK checking out NARS' AW12 collection and I have to say I loved it. I am a big NARS fan and I embrace all the vibrant colours and textures, but this season one product stood out to me more than the others. It was the Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil in 'More' I absolutely adore the Velvet Matte lip pencils, however I have to be honest and say that when NARS initially launched the glossy alternative I was a little disappointed.

'More' however literally had me wanting MORE! The colour is just so ideal for my current complexion, it's almost like a terracotta, caramel colour. This lip pencil glides on to the lips effortlessly leaving a glossy finish that lasts hours on the lips. I also really liked the feel of this lip pencil it feels more hydrating than sticky/slippery like mosts glosses tend to.This NARS Velvet Gloss Lip pencil is just so easy to wear and has been my go to lip product of the moment, definitely a favourite!

I was sent some of Revlon's new ColorStay nail polishes to review and I was delighted when I saw 'Cafe Pink' I instantly knew it would be a firm favourite. The Revlon ColorStay polishes are meant to be the solution to at home manicures with that long lasting gel finish. I have to say I was not disappointed!

The application was a dream, the brush fit my nails perfectly and one stroke was all it needed. I applied two coats and without adding a topcoat I could already see the high quality gloss finish this nail polish has.

Cafe Pink is the perfect pink, it was so easy to wear and I love how long it lasted on my nails. It's so pretty - I love it!

Hello my loves, firstly apologies for my absence! My life over the last few weeks has been crazy to say the least. I got back from Dubai and had just a little over a week to pack up my things all ready for my move to Paris. I tried to spend as much time as possible with all my friends and family so naturally blogging took a bit of a back seat. I am now sitting in bed in my new place in Paris and it's perfect! The weather has been amazing this week it feels like Summer is here in Paris! The sun has been shining and I have defientley taken advantage of that - enjoying my favourite places all over the city. I will try and get back in to uploading regularly I have such a huge back log of posts that it's scaring me, so there's lots to come I assure you. For now I leave you with a beautiful photograph I took yesterday by the Eiffel Tower. I have always been a frequent visitor in Paris but to me in all honesty nothing really makes you feel like you're in Paris than when you are looking at this! It was such a gorgeous evening.. Makes me fall in love with this city every time.. Oh and check out the full moon!

Hope you are all well..

(164) Bonjour!

This time last week I had the pleasure of dining at Hakkasan in Dubai which is situated in the Emirates Towers. Hakkasan is one of my favourite restaurants in London and I knew I had to pay the Dubai one a visit, it's quite an exclusive chain with only 8 restaurants in the world.

Dining at Hakkasan is a great experience and I love the whole ambience of the place; from the chilled out music, to the amazing decor and of course the incredible food. I really enjoy Chinese/Asian cuisine our food was divine and cooked to perfection. We had a selection of starters, mains, a dessert between two and of course fabulous mocktails. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole dining experience and I have to say the service was superb. (Check out my Dessert, It was an Apple Pie - Doesn't it look to die for - it was!)

When I'm on holiday I really enjoy finding great places to eat as I  very rarely get the chance to make the same effort in London. It's therefore nice to appreciate good food, great company and in such fabulous surroundings.

Hakkasan is definitely a wonderful place to eat; whether it be for a romantic dinner for two or out an evening out with the girls - the atmosphere is amazing and I can't recommend it enough.

Hello my loves, hope you are all well. Just wanted to wish everybody who's celebrating Eid today a Happy Eid. I am back in London now and feeling pretty unwell, I've come down with a terrible cold and all my sinuses are blocked and I feel pretty rough - ugh! Nevertheless I thought I'd post an Instagram round up, I like looking at pictures collectively. I had a magical time in Dubai, it really was such a great break, I didn't want to come back. I now only have a week to go till I move till Paris, I know this week is going to be madness and I don't quite think I'm ready for it. Oh well.. bring it on I say..

How are you all?
