This winter I VOW to wear colour..

Full outfit Femme Luxe

Could the weather be any more miserable, if you’re not from London - I’ll break it down for you. It feels like it’s been raining non stop for a month, it’s as if we’ve skipped a season and ended up in Winter. So what’s the best way to beat these blues - add colour. This year I’ve toyed more with colourful clothes than I have done in previous years and I’m going to try to keep that up this A/W.

Let's talk products..

Ya girl has been loving.  I’ve been enjoying using Mr.Smith hair care, the brand is so sleek and the packaging is minimalistic but right up my street. I’ve been using The Foundation on wet hair before I style it and it’s great for giving you volume that lasts for days. It really hold styles well and it doesn’t weigh down my hair.

I’ve been using lots of Glossier skin products lately and Bubblewrap eye and lip cream has been a godsend, I’m literally on my last bit of this. I love the texture and the way it instantly smooths and lifts the eye area. Their Vitamin C serum has been another product I’ve almost finished, I like the way this adds instant brightness and radiance to the skin.

I’m obsessing over MAC’s Extra dimension palette in ‘among the stars’ it’s giving me all sorts of  festive vibes. I’ve been loving the Studio Fix foundation stick, this colour is a little light for me but I’ve been using it as a concealer to brighten - The texture is dreamy and it blends seamlessly. I forgot I had this Retro Matte liquid lip colour in Burnt Spice - it’s giving me Autumnal  nude lip vibes.

Can we talk about the @ciatelondon Extraordinary translucent powder - it’s bomb and it’s replaced my LM powder. It’s really finely milled and I love how it blends into the skin. I got this at a press event and didn’t expect to love it as much as I do. It’s running low so you know that’s the sign of a good product.

Let’s talk clothes..

I’ve been loving cargo trousers recently - it’s like I’ve resurrected my 14 year old self. These black ones are from Femme Luxe and are that waterproof material which makes braving the rain a little more manageable haha - As I wear a lot of black I love to incorporate different materials to give outfits more dimension. These can be dressed up with heels or kept casj as I opted for.  I worn them with this neon green knit - can I just say this is such a cosy jumper, great quality and really affordable. I get a bit iffy with neon colours, I sometimes feel like a human highlighter * L O L * but this one is such a gorgeous green - very Kermit CHIC.

I’m wearing the combats in the first picture too - With a pink teddy coat also from Femme Luxe, a bit Barbie but I love it because life in plastic is fantastic!

Jokes aside, it adds a pop of colour to any outfit and I’m going to be real with you, I rarely admit it but pink is my favourite colour. Which is odd because I do see my personal style as quite boyish. I love the length of this coat as it’s super long on me - I never get the point of short coats in the Winter? I want to feel like I’m warm and snuggly all over and this coat defintley does that to me.

Talking of plastic did you guys see my Halloween comic book make up look I did - I had the coat draped on my shoulders but you can just about see it.

Lastly I’ve got more of a neutral toned jumper here but it’s a front tie jumper which makes it a little bit more interesting. I love the knit pattern of this jumper and the high, round neck. This jumper is longer at the back which is really flattering and can be worn over anything. Check it out on Femme Luxe HERE.

What have you guys been loving this week? Do you wear colour in Winter? What are your must have make up products at the moment?

Lots of Love
