Lip Combo Of The Moment

Too often I'm asked what lipstick I'm wearing, most of the time it's a mix of things..
Today I wanted to share one of my most worn lip combos of late. I tend to start with one product, add another and keep going till I'm happy. As I recently mentioned I'm trying to stray away from brown based lip products and adding a touch of pink tends to perk up my complexion.

To start with I've been using the Huda Beauty Lip Contour in Trophy Wife to line and fill in my lips. I adore the texture of this pencil - it's creamy, easy to apply and isn't drying on the lips. Alone it's quite pink with a slight mauvish undertone, it's pretty but to enhance my lips further I add a lighter lipstick for dimension. To do this I've been reaching for MAC's Velvet Teddy on me it's almost a terracotta based nude and I love the way it works with Trophy Wife. I must say for a MAC matte lipstick I find this one of the most hydrating. Finally to finish up I've been adding a little Too Faced Melted Nude, I don't think I've actually blogged about this but truth be told it's one of my favourite lip products. The consistency is to die for it's more like a cream based lip stain which is extremely comforting on the lips. The colour is gorgeous, a soft nude with a peachy/pink tone to it - I often wear this alone but I also love it for adding a little extra oomph!

There you have my current favourite lip combo, I've been wearing this on Snapchat quite a bit and so many people always ask so I thought I could make this a frequent thing

Have any of you tired these products? What's your current favourite lip combo?

Lots of Love

  1. That's a beautiful combination! I started following you (a long time ago) because our skin tones are similar and I could not find a decent nude for the life of me. Now, because of you, I have a plethora to choose from!
