One of my most frequently asked questions is how I apply my winged liner..
My answer is always "practice makes perfect" cliche but so true. When I first started wearing liquid liner I would only ever use an ink pot liner the ones with the small felt pen like nib - I don't know what it is about this kind of liner but it's the best place to start. This brings me onto Lancôme's latest launch - The Grandiôse Liner which is exactly that but with a unique twist - a flexi applicator. This eyeliner is one of the best products I’ve tried this year and there’s so many reasons why.
If you struggle with applying fleeky liner this product will be your BFF. Whether you choose to flex the applicator or not the nib allows you to precisely place the product getting as close to your lash line as possible. For those who find it difficult to wing it the flexi applicator means you can adjust, to get the best angle for yourself to apply your liner.
What I always look for in eyeliner is longevity and intensity and this liner ticks both of these boxes. I mention this frequently, but I suffer from overly active tear ducts so most liners disappear after a number of hours, I can report that this has stood the test of time and lasted all day - Amazing. Another thing you’ll know if you’ve followed me for a while is that my liner has to be BLACK, no wishy-washy excuse - It’s got to be as bold and striking as possible. I was impressed that this liner delivers exactly that and the finish is matte another personal preference.
I’ve been using gel liners for so long because all liquid liners (Pens & Pots) weren’t giving me the intensity and impact I required - I must say Lancôme's Grandiôse Liner is really beginning to rival my beloved gel liner.
Have any of you tried this liner? I can’t recommend it enough.
Lots of Love
