L'Oreal La Palette Nude | Budget Beauty

Well wasn't this palette a pleasant surprise..

I'm the first to admit - I can be a bit of a make up snob! I frequently gravitate towards high end beauty brands but sometimes, actually a lot of the time the drugstore brands are just as good (if not, better!) This is a great example of that - I was sent the L'Oreal Palette Nude a while back and decided to pack it on my recent trip to the states. There's something about this palette being so slimline that makes it the perfect travelling companion. Packaging aside the product itself didn't disappoint - In fact, quite the opposite. This has the perfect combination of matte and shimmer shades that can be worn day to night. The consistency of these shadows is beautiful, the are surprisingly strong in pigment and blend so well. If I'm honest this selection of eyeshadows is really comparable to many of the high end palettes on the market. If you're looking for a new palette this is one worth checking out, I mean even if you're not looking for a new palette it is STILL worth checking out.

Best of all it's from the drugstore, all that goodness for £14.99!

This is the Beige edition, I now have my eyes on the Rose one too! eek..

Have any of you tried this?

Lots of Love

  2. I am also (unfortunatley) a makeup snob too, this however reminds me of a Naked 3 mixed with the Naked smokey, the mix of the shimmer and the matts are perfectly combined so you can just buy this pallette and be very satisfied. :) xxx

  4. I too have been loving L'Oreal products. I fell in love with the J.Lo polish and lipstick designed by her for L'oreal. The staying power and ease of the polish was quite nice, actually. The lipstick gives me that 'your lips, but better look' while adding shine and moisture.
