Apologies for the lack of posts recently, I call it Blogger-cation in other words 'Writers Block'..
Sometimes this industry is so fast that it becomes overwhelming, there's always an influx of things to talk about and at times it all gets a bit too much. Nevertheless there are so many new and exciting things I've been trying recently and I can't wait to share them all with you.
If you've frequently followed me you'll know that my love for highlighting is certainly REAL - Give me that J-LO Glow and I'm good. For the last year I have been obsessed with The Balm's Mary-Lou Manizer and I'm sure (unless you're living under a rock) you will know it's a firm favourite within the beauty blogger community. It is the most gorgeous, champagne shade which glistens so perfectly on the skin - It's not overly shimmery and it can be as subtle or as strong as you like - More the merrier, I say! Despite all the numerous highlighters I've tried this is the one I always revert back to, it's such a key product in my daily make up routine and I never leave the house with a dusting of this.
Lately I decided to step things up a notch and get involved with Betty! Now what I love about this highlighter is the warmth it adds to my skin. It's golden in comparison (to Mary-Lou) and is perfect for the Summer when our skin tends to be bronzed up and sun kissed. I was happy that this still gave the skin that Mary-Lou effect but at the same time enhanced the richness of my skin. Betty-Lou Manizer is a great option for warmer complexion girls who find that Mary-Lou is too icy/frosty against their complexion.
If I'm being honest I've been layering the two - HA! I told you I love to highlight..
Betty-Lou Manizer is another product from The Balm that didn't disappoint, they are slowly becoming one of my favourite make up brands.
Have any of you tried this? Do any of you swear by Mary Lou too?
Lots of Love
