Happy Friday you fabulous lot, here's some of my face favourites from this week!
I decided to use the NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation for my base this week, I haven’t worn it very much, so I whipped it out to play. The colour is a better match than I remember it being, must be because I’ve caught a little sunshine. I love how light it feels on the skin and the longevity of it is awesome. For concealer I decided to use Benefi’s boi-ing (03) I’ve had this for ages but don’t often use it under my eyes. I actually quite liked it, I think the colour is a good match at the moment and the creamy consistency sits well on my skin. I’ve been hooked on the Topshop Cream Contour in Swerve, I love using this to shape my face - It’s not too obvious and the product blends in beautifully. On my cheeks it was obviously all about the new NARS Dual Intensity Blushers, I used them wet to start with but if I’m honest it was too fussy for me. Instead I built up the colour dry, I used the deeper tone of Fervor on the apples of my cheeks and softened it slightly with the baby pink. To highlight I used both of the golden tones from the Jubilation highlighter, absolutely gorgeous on the cheekbones. I rediscovered my love for MAC’s Paintpots this week, I used to religiously use them but replaced them with Laura Mercier Eye Basics. I used the shade Groundwork and it worked so well at pro-longing the wear of my eyeshadow. For eyeshadow I dug out this neutral palette from MAC x Pedro Lourenco I'm really feeling lighter shadows for Spring. This week I can confirm that I love the Maybelline Gel Liner, a great product from the drugstore - Intense, long wearing and easy to work with. Mascara was obviously HOLY GRAILBourjois 1 Seconde Volume, still my favourite! Brows were different this week and bolder - I couldn't find any of my eyebrow pencils so I usedIllamasqua's Brow Gel in Starealong with the angled brow brush. It's a really nice consistency and not too wet so easy to create the perfect brow. I did a little ombre lip using NARS Velvet Matte Pencils I started withWalkyrie all over the lips which is a gorgeous brown, then to create the illusion of fuller lips I applied Belle de Jour in the centre, this is a really light peach based nude - ET VOILA!
How has your week been? What have you been loving this week? Any plans for the weekend! Have a good one Lots of Love Zara x
