It’s been forever since I’ve featured a #FridayFaceOff so let's catch up!
This look has pretty much become my standard, everyday make up so I figured I would kick of my #FFO comeback on the products I’ve been wearing on a daily basis.
I unintentionally caught the sun in Dubai so I find my skin a little warmer than usual, I haven’t really been loving foundation lately. My skin is a bit BLAH and a lot of my foundations are emphasising that. I went back to my trustee Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation, god I love this stuff - The consistency is light but the coverage is awesome. Surprise, surprise concealer and me aren’t friends? All my usual choices are too light and they end up looking ashy. I opted for Smashbox’s Camera Ready BB Cream Eyes which I really like, it’s quite fluid and the brush applicator makes it easy to apply. The shade is a much better match for my current complexion and it works really well in conjunction with the Illamasqua Skin Base. I have been LOVING the Illamasqua Sculpting Duo in Nefertiti and Illuminate - I use this to lightly contour and highlight, it’s so beautiful on and the consistency is dreamy. For my cheeks I have been OBSESSED with this blusher I picked up in Dubai, since purchasing it I’ve used it pretty everyday (That's almost 4 weeks now). It’s a collaboration with the jewellery designer Shourouk and Sephora Middle East - It reminds me of the loose bronzer balls I used to watch my mum apply when I was a child. The colour is gorgeous, pink but with a stunning pearly/radiant finish - YES I tend to go a little overboard with it. On my eyes I’ve been using the Collection Nude Bronze Palette, oh how I adore this. The colours are neutral golden tones that are ideal for Spring, the quality of these shadows is impressive and at £3.99 it’s a complete STEAL! So my Delilah Liner dried out in Dubai *Cries* so I popped to Boots and thought I would give the Maybelline Gel Liner a go - My opinion isn’t fully formed yet BUT I do really like it, it’s bold and black enough but best of all it lasts on my lids. Mascara you say? Well I’ve tried a few new ones lately and hated them all HA! This could only mean one thing, back to the BOURJOIS! Ok my lashes look a little too spikey here, that’s because I applied one too many coats and was dashing out the door but really it’s the BOMB.COM. Let’s talk LIPS this is my GO-TO lip combination. The lip liner.. (well this is a sad story) is NARS Morocco the most amazing tone of brown BUT it’s discontinued *Cries* you may still be able to find it online though. My everyday lipstick choice is my beloved Sephora Colour Lip Last 4, I tried to pick up another one of these in Dubai but everytime I went to Sephora it was SOLD OUT - Tragic!
