5 Favourite Brushes Right Now! | Tool Talk
Thought I'd share my 5 favourite brushes of the moment and YES they're all dirty!
I was going to wash them for the sake of this post but hey why not keep it real. I have quite an extensive brush collection but these are the ones I have been loving lately and using daily.
Laura Mercier Fan Brush
I absolutely adore this brush and for the last 6 months I have been using it religiously to apply my highlighter. It's duo fibre brush which gives you a soft, light finish on the skin and distributes product so nicely. I love the motion of using a fan brush, it's just so fluttery.
NARS Kabuki Mie Brush
This has become my new favourite for brush applying blusher, it's slightly tapered so it's also great to apply bronzer as it fits well into the hollows of you face. When it comes to blusher I love how softly this deposits colour to the cheeks - Perfect!
MAC 188 Brush
I've had this brush for years and over that time it's had many purposes. From foundation, to concealer and now my favourite, contour - this brush is awesome. It's a duo fibre brush so it allows you to get a really smooth, airbrushed finish and best of all it blends products in so well. I have been using this with my Topshop Cream Contour and I love how this brush helps to diffuse the product.
Delilah Concealer Blending Brush
When it comes to setting my base with a powder I generally use my beautyblender but for more specific areas - i.e. under the eyes and around my nose I love using a smaller brush. This is perfect, the bristles are firm and it feels as if it buffs in my powder and seals in my concealer. I sometimes use this for my concealer but if not I almost always set my concealer using this brush and it stays put all day.
Real Techniques Bold Metal Oval Shadow Brush 200
You know I love my eyeshadows and this has become my number one brush for applying my all over colour to my eyelids. The brush is so soft but it allows you to apply shadows so effortlessly and to full intensity. I also really like the size of this brush as it fits my lids so well.
What are some of your favourite brushes?
