It just dawned on me that it’s Friday the 13th!

I’m so happy the weekend is here although I say this often, most of the time I tend to work through the weekends. I actually took the day off (well kinda) yesterday and caught up with Suzi - it’s always so nice to see her! I had anticipated a bad hair-day so I threw on this beenie from H&M - I love the colour of it and obviously it inspired my lip choice!

For my base I opted for MAC Studio Sculpt, my skin has been acting this week and I needed to play it safe with something that wasn't going to aggravate it. I also have horrible dark circles at the moment, I’ve been sleeping so much better but I’ve woken up everyday looking haggard! I decided on my NARS Creamy Radiant Concealer - Fluid in texture, powder like in finish and the coverage is pretty good (Although you can hardly tell here) I did a complete guide to concealers on my YouTube channel you can watch HERE. On my cheeks it was NARS Madly (again) such an effortless blush to wear, especially when opting for a bolder lip. I highlighted with Mary-Lou Manizer, no surprise there! The Tartelette palette has been dictating my eyeshadow choices all week, it’s beyond beautiful! I’ve been using a new liquid liner by Bourjois (Liner Pinceau) which I LOVE, there’s nothing like the FLICK a liquid gives you, something I can never achieve with a gel and a brush. On my lashes I used Lancome's Hypnose Drama, a mascara I adore and revert back to often. Brows was the standard Soap & Glory Archery Brow in Hot Chocolate.  For my lips I used the Smashbox Always Sharp Lip Liner in Nude Dark, I’m getting on so much better with this product now - It’s great for defining the lips and not as drying as I had initially felt (might just be my lips!) The lipstick I chose was Illamasqua’s Shard, I haven’t wore this in forever and it was the perfect match for my hat!

What have you lot been loving this week? Any nice plans for the weekend? Valentines?

Lots of Love

  1. Love this look! Those dark lips look so gorgeous on you Zara. May I ask where your leather jacket is from? I'm shopping around for one :)
