#TheNailFiles | Maybelline Deep Red

This weeks paint job is courtesy of Maybelline's Forever Strong Super Stay 7 Days in Deep Red.

I was SO in the mood for red nails, just like red lips they are so classic, so elegant and one of those shades you can wear all year round. To me, it's such a lady like colour and when I was a kid it was the only colour I dreamed of painting my nails. These days there are so many tones of red and I love finding the perfect shade - for me this is it. It's deep but not too deep that it's borderline burgundy, it's bold but not too bright - it's just right!

This is the first time I've tried the Maybelline Forever Strong nail polishes and in all honesty I'm blown away. The brush is well rounded that one stroke of colour is enough, it only really needed one coat but as always just to be sure I did two. The finish is gel and high glossy, if you prefer not to fuss with top coat then this is the perfect polish for you. I've had this on for about 5 days and there's not one chip, could this really be a 7 day wonder?

From the colour, to the application to the finish - I know I'll be back for more!

Have any of you tried the Maybelline Forever Strong Super Stay nail polishes check out the gorgeous shades HERE I've got my eyes on the baby pink one next! Deep Red has to be my favourite, most recent drugstore purchase.

Lots of Love
