Sneak Peek | Urban Decay NAKED Concealer

Now I'm pretty critical when it comes to concealer. Yes critical.

For someone who suffers with dark circles, it's always important to find the perfect balance when it comes to concealer. I'm talking full coverage but not heavy or cakey. Often when concealer is too heavy it can end up emphasising dark circles more than before and it sits in the creases. I usually like a liquid concealer but one that stays put and has a matte finish. I was so excited to try the Urban Decay NAKED Concealer, it actually came as a surprise to me - I'd heard little about it and didn't know what to expect.

The consistency is fluid and instantly feels light against the skin, it seems many brands are opting for this 'Weightless' approach to new products. The product dries relatively quickly and mattifies to a smooth, flawless, powder like finish (so much so, I don't need to apply a powder to set it), The coverage is amazing, it seems to counteract the darkness but also adds radiance under the eyes. What I love is that this concealer is really buildable but it remains looking natural. I've got the 'Medium Neutral' and the 'Medium Warm' in all honesty I notice little difference between the two shades. The Neutral is a tad brighter under the eyes where as the Warm blends in a little better to the rest of my base. This concealer has a doe foot applicator which is easy to dot around the eyes.

In some ways this concealer reminds me of the NARS Radiance Creamy Concealer but I generally find the Urban Decay is lighter in consistency. This has light diffusing technology which enhances brightness under the eyes.

The Urban Decay NAKED Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer was a product that immediately impressed me. I can usually tell straight away whether I'm going to like a product or not and I knew when I first applied this it was going to be a good one!

The Urban Decay NAKED Concealer comes in 8 shades and you can check them out HERE. If you want to see what this concealer looks like on, I previewed it in this week's #FridayFaceOff HERE

They have already launched in the US but will be out in the UK on the 29th January

Will you be trying this?

Lots of Love

  4. Need to try this! I also suffer from (genetical, thanks dad) dark circles and find many concealers too drying and cakey.
