Welcome back to the FIRST #FRIDAYFACEOFF of 2015!

Despite falling slightly off track with the #FFO’s last year, I still very much enjoyed them, it forced me to play with products that I may not use so often. I also rediscovered a lot of products through this weekly feature - so here’s to more #FFO’s in 2015. I wore this look a few days ago and knew it would have to be the one to kick things all off, most of the products aren’t new to MouldyFruit but it's always worth sharing the love I have for them.

I wrote THIS post on tips to keeping your base in place one of my tips was to pre powder prior to foundation, I find being here in Dubai, in a warmer climate my make up doesn’t stay put. I dusted a little bit of Ben Nye’s Banana Powder over my skin, then followed with MAC Studio Sculpt. I’ve pretty much used this foundation consistently since November. I’ve been suffering with the worst sleep here in Dubai - I mean falling asleep at 6am!? And that’s with NO evening outings/partying, so my bags are BAD. I highlighted the under eye area with MAC’s Prep + Prime Pen in Bright Forecast. For concealer I've been reaching for the BOSS of concealer - YES Cle de Peau, I forgot how creamy, buttery, smooth this concealer is and the coverage? MAX - LOVE it!maximum. I blended in all these products using my Beautyblender which has been my holy grail tool of the moment. To seal my base in place I went back to Ben Nye for another dusting of this powder I love so much. To warm up my skin I used NARS Laguna which is looking a little worse for wear in the pan, I’m dreading the crack which is inevitably going to happen sometime soon. On my cheeks I’ve been loving NARS Lovejoy it’s a warm rust/bronzey colour with a soft shimmer, it gives me life! Highlighter? No surprise! Mary-Lou Manizer, YES still absolutely LOVING this badboy! For eyes it’s been all about the meet Matt(e) Nude Palette, I tend to use the softer brown shade in the crease as a transition shade, the medium brown on the lids and the darker brown in the outer corners of my eyes - YES that’s a lotta brown! I guess it’s a hard colour to break away from. Liner is of course Delilah, which is just beautiful - Fluid, intense and best of all stays put. Mascara, again no surprise here - Bourjois Volume 1 Second in Ultra Black for those bad ass lashes. For my brows I’ve been using the HD Browtec in the shade VAMP, it’s a fab consistency which gives my brows quite a natural finish. Let’s talk lips? I lined my entire lips with a cheap lip liner I picked up in a Berlin drugstore (I think it was 1 euro!), it’s a deep red and is by a brand called Catrice Cosmetics (030 Berryson Ford). Over this I applied the HOLY GRAIL Sephora Cream Lip Stain in #1 - I mean come on? It was the first red lip of the New Year, it had to be done!

From re-reading this post, I feel semi-proud because I’m really using my products. I have accumulated a ridiculous amount of make up over the years and despite regularly giving bags and bags away my collection seems never ending. This year I am going to try and make best use of the make up I own!

Hope you have all had a great first week of 2015! Although I am loving being in Dubai (as always) I’m excited to get home and REALLY get geared for an awesome year.

Have a fab weekend you awesome lot

Lots of Love
