I can't quite believe that I am sharing my December Favourites with you, how crazy? This year has gone far too quickly, it's scary! I never usually do a December Favourites, it's often just a yearly round up but this year I decided why not?
There are some favourites this month that may not make it into my yearly favourites so I figured it was only fair to share them in December's. I came to an end of all my current cleansers so I decided to try a new one, I opted for the Ole Henriksen 3-in-1 Melting Balm Cleanser and I absolutely love it. The texture is unlike anything I have ever tried before, it starts off like a gel as you massage it into the skin it becomes balm like and once you add water to it, it changes into an oil. It breaks down most make up and dirt on the skin but best of all it's rich in vitamin C, leaving the skin looking bright, I've been particularly enjoying using this in the mornings. For extra radiance and hydration I have been loving Masque BAR's Brightening Sheet Face Mask full post on that HERE. I always obsess over lip balms at this time of the year, I'm even applying this one right now and it's the Blistex MedPlus there's something so addictive about this product. For a lip balm with little bit of a tint I have been loving Sephora's Kiss Me Lip Balm in Soda Pop, it's a really nice berry tone, which gives your lips a little colour and it smells of coca cola! For nails I've been rocking red from Essie's Christmas Collection last year, Fishnet Stockings is the perfect colour for festive fingertips. Recently I have been using Rococo's Glass Nail File which is probably the most effective way at filing your nails! A new arrival from Smashbox had me super excited this month, the Double Exposure Palette launches in the UK on the 7th January but is ALREADY a firm favourite of mine. Also for eyes the Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde Mascara in Ultra Black made it to my monthly favourites as well as a new gel liner from Delilah. I've been seriously struggling with sleep this month and as a result my bags/dark cirlces are horrific, so I really have to give praise to the Laura Mercier High Coverage Concealer which has been a complete life saver. It's a tricky one when it comes to consistency but the best way to use it, is to warm it up on the back of your hand and press it into the eye are with you finger. The coverage is awesome! A £3 lip stain by MUA was a serious surprise this month, I adore the colour of 'Kooky' it's a beautiful, vibrant purple (More on that HERE). The other lipstick which I fell in love with was 'Carmine Rouge' by MAC x Prabal Gurung Collection - It's seriously stunning!
As always to hear me talk through all the above check out the video!
Hope you have all had a fabulous Christmas!
Lots of Love
