MouldyMoments | A Beauty Filled Week!

17.11.14

week

I'm back on the VlogWagon - I wanted to share with you, some of what I've been up to lately. I hate to commit and say this will be a regular thing but at the moment I'm quite enjoying it so I hope you will be part of the adventure, for as long as it lasts.

Last week was one of those crazy busy weeks, where you don't really get the time to stop and process anything that's going on around you.

Firstly I attended the Illamasqua Global Beauty Course, I was quite nervous because I have never done a make up course, nor have I done make up on models before. I have to say despite being overly critical and too tough on myself I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We got to experiment with make up and created looks that were way out of my comfort zone. Tony our teacher has a wealth of make up knowledge/experience behind him from working with MAC in a senior role all over the world, to now training with Illamasqua. We covered make up trends from Geisha, to Ganguro from Asian Bridal to Tribal - it was a lot of fun. I also got to meet Sanna (@Lookamillion) someone who I've stalked on social media for quite some time, her skills are incredible and her passion inspires me. I also got to meet her mum Shaheen (@mummillion) who I honestly feel has become my adopted mother, it was such a pleasure meeting them both.

On Wednesday evening I left the Beauty School early to attend an event with NARS 'In the Sky' and OH boy it literally was. We were sat at a table that was suspended into the sky above London, it was insane but AMAZING. The table slowly moved around so you could take in 360 views of London from the sky. The event was to preview the new NARS Foundation launching next year, I can't say much yet, but I will just say you guys will be blown away!

Thursday morning I woke up at 6, packed and made my way to the airport. Despite all the frustrating delays on the tube I made it with time to realx, pre flight all thanks to World Duty Free. I was shown around by the fabulous team, given a skin consultation at Clinique, a quick touch up of my make up at Chanel and a luxurious hand and arm massage at Jo Malone. It was truly bliss and really helped me unwind prior to my flight. These services are complimentary and available if you are travelling through World Duty Free, so be sure to check them out!

Hope you enjoy the Vlog!
Lots of Love
