Drugstore Favourites - Low Down & The Video

I don't think I've ever done a collective post/video focused on my favourite drugstore products, so this seems somewhat overdue - Better late, than never Ay!

Rimmel Glam Eyes 5 Pan in Brixton Brown
Probably my GO-TO eyeshadow palette from the drugstore - I'm not sure if it's the colours or the dreamy texture of these eyeshadows but they are by far my favourite. These blend like a dream and the colour pay off is incredible. I also love the packaging, they are perfect for carrying around on the go.

L'oreal Superliner Perfect Slim
This is the ideal eyeliner for using on those days when I'm in a rush. The fine nib makes application easy and it really allows you to create that perfect feline flick. I love how black this is and it lasts all day, despite my watery eyes.

L'oreal Superliner Blackbuster
This is just as good as the Perfect Slim but I opt for this one when I want to create a really bold, thick line. Even though the nib is chunky you can still create precise lines with it - It's pretty versatile

Sleek Kajal Khol
I adore this Kohl, it's one of those drugstore products that has been in my collection for years. This chunky crayon, allows you to create intense, smudgy, smokey lines and I love it. It's so easy to use and effortless to apply on the lower lash line, it doesn't drag and stays put considering it's so soft.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl Kajal in 014 Bright Blue
Occasionally I like to add a pop of colour to my lower lash line, I find this can jazz up any standard eye make up and make it a little more interesting. This tone of blue is beautiful, it's not too dark nor is it too bright. It sits so well on my lower lash line and really enhances the colour of my eyes.

Bourjois 1 Seconde Volume
Drugstore mascaras are the best. Fact. I always find myself looking for the next best thing and I very rarely stick to using the same one. The Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde was definitely the one that changed that. It's a mascara I'm so happy with - I love how it lengthens my lashes and adds amazing volume, I always feel like I don't need to wear eyeliner when it comes to using this mascara because it makes my lashes look incredible.

Soap & Glory Brow Archery in Hot Chocolate
This discovery was all thanks to Lily - I read her review and had to try it for myself and so I did. This is THE dupe for Anastasia's Brow Wiz - From the packaging, to the product. I couldn't believe how spot on this product is. It's the perfect colour for me, I would say it's a touch lighter than Ebony in the Brow Wiz but the pencil itself allows you to fill in your brows so easily.

Maybelline Eraser Eye in Nude
This was another blogger recommendation, I had heard Amelia rave about this on numerous occasions and wanted to give it a go for myself. In all honesty I was a little skeptical as the darkest shade 'Nude' is just a touch to light for me - Don't get me wrong, I'm all for light concealer, the lighter the brighter but this was on the verge of being a touch ashy on my skin tone. The texture is dreamy and it has almost a velvet finish on the skin - The applicator makes it easy to apply and I've found a way to work with this concealer. I tend to use a colour corrector to neutralise the colour under my eyes and then I add this for brightness - If you can get the colour to work for you, it's a great product.

MeMeMe Blush in Bronze
If you have read my blog for a while you will know that I have used this product for AGES. It's such a beautiful bronze, with a soft shimmer, it looks incredible as a highlighter in the Summer. I also love it on my eyes as an eyeshadow it's just the perfect tone and catches the light so beautifully.

Rimmel Lip Liner in Cappuccino
I bought this when I first got on the whole 'Kylie Jenner' lip hype - it's a dirty brown, with a slight mauve/grey undertone. If I use this all over the lips it's a very 90s' look, I sometimes like to line my lips with this then fill in the centre with a slightly lighter tone. I really love Rimmel Lip Liners, I have done since I was a teen

Maybelline BabyLips in Peach
No drugstore favourites can be complete without these, they are simple, effective and best of all easy to use. I love how hydrating Baby Lips are and I adore the colour of this one, it gives my lips just enough colour on those days where I'm wearing minimal make up.

L'Oreal Colour Riche Extraordinaire in Nude Ballet
I bought this as soon as I heard Mario Dedavonic used this on Kim K on her wedding, it has since become one of my favourite lip glosses - It actually rivals my beloved Kevyn Aucoin ones. The texture is smooth but not sticky, and the colour is so pretty on the lips, a soft peachy nude

Sally Hansen Lip Inflation Xtreme in Sheer Bare
I first bought this in the states and it has continued to be one of those lip products I have repurchased. It's one of those plumping lip glosses, that tingles and *supposedly* gives you fuller lips. I think it's the colour of this I adore, it's perfect and it honestly smells like Mince Pies!

Soap & Glory Sexy Motherpucker Extreme - Plump
Another one of my favourite lip plumpers, I mean if lips are going to be glossy they might as well be big - Go big or go home. I love it when this tingles, I get a little carried away when applying this because I notice a difference. It's clear in colour so works well over whatever you may be wearing.

Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Dark Water L'oops
The Moisture Renew lipsticks are seriously amazing, they are so hydrating on the lips and come in an array of colour. I didn't think this colour in this texture would have been my thing, but boy oh boy it is! I love how rich it looks on the lips, it's such an intense colour and it wears well over hours.

Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm in Shameless
This is the only lip product I have in my entire collection that is THIS colour and it's the colour that I adore - It's purple! I love this on my lips, most matte lip products I use can be drying after a while but this one is super hydrating.
