This is what I describe as an Emma enabled purchase!
The other week me and my darling MilkTeef were browsing around Debenhams beauty hall (as you do!) and she asked me what I thought of the YSL Baby Doll Kiss & Blush. In actual fact I'd never tried them (I avoided jumping on the bandwagon when they hit the beauty world) but it was time to give it a go and make up my own mind - The purchase was inevitable, really!
The verdict - J'adore!
First let's discuss the consistency smooth, creamy and extremely comforting. Now I'm not going to lie and say I've used this on my cheeks because - I haven't. Call me old fashioned but I just prefer powder blushers as opposed to anything creamy or liquid, personally I find they sit better with my foundation.
Back to the texture, on my lips it's a dream - so hydrating and lightweight. It's a cross between a lip stain and a very sheer lip stick. The finish however, is somewhat hard to describe. It does mattify but I would no way compare this to the matte lip stains I use. It's a lot softer and has ever such a slight sheen.
Now onto the colour - Moca Carconne'12' what a fabulous, peachy nude! I love it, it's subtle but has a soft hint of colour which I think works really well with my complexion. I've been wearing this lots over the last few weeks, as it's just EASY - No fuss, easy to apply and the feel of it on my lips is probably what has me reaching for this so often.
I will try it on my cheeks, actually who am I kidding, I probably won't! BUT as a lip product it's love all around for the YSL Baby Doll Kiss & Blush ( Or just kiss in this case!)
Have any of you tried these? What do you think of them? Lips? Cheeks? Or both!?
Lots of Love
