September Favourites - The Low Down & The Video
Apologies it's been a while, I've been on the go - When I say on the go I mean in the last week I've gone from London - Paris - London and now I'm currently sat in Dubai, it's the 2nd of October but couldn't feel more like the peak of Summer. Anyways enough of that let's recap on September's favourites!
The change in season calls for new fragrance and the one that's been a firm favourite last month is Tom Ford's Violet Blonde, it's soft and powdery but still has underlying musky tone. I've been loving understated, muted nails lately two which I've worn in rotation in September are Sally Hansen's Stocking Nude and Rococo's Artful - They both are simple and sophisticated. My skin has been a little rocky in September, I've been breaking out quite a bit and I reverted back to using an old school favourite from my teens - The Body Shops Tea Tree Oil, the smell of this reminds me so much of being that spotty teen, however it really does the trick! There have been new brushes on the block this September both of which are by Zoeva, I'm so impressed with the quality, they are fabulous! - You can read the full post HERE. I discovered my love for an uber luxurious bronzer by Sisley, it's so beautiful and gives you such a golden glow - I'm seriously holding on to Summer skin with this product. If you have read my more recent #FRIDAYFACEOFF you will know how much I have been loving the Laura Mercier Creme Smooth Foundation (Honey Beige), it's so hydrating, creamy and the coverage is fantastic. I have also been using a new concealer which is By Terry's Touche Veloutee (4) I actually thought this product would be too pink for me but surprisingly it works really well at concealing the darkness under my eyes. September was the month I fell in love with By Terry's Baume de Rose in Fig Fiction, it's moisturising and has such a beautiful tone to it. I have consistently worn Laura Mercier's Cafe au Lait Eyeshadow, it's the perfect transitional shade - I use it with a fluffily brush just above the crease and it blends my eyeshadows in so seamlessly. There was also a few non beauty favourites thrown in the mix this month - Don't judge me but I jumped on the Selfie Stick bandwagon and shamelessly love it! The other was of course, none other than my Givenchy Bambi Antigona Clutch - LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Lots of Love
