It's that time of the week and it's been ages since I've done a #FridayFaceOff - To be fair, since getting back from holiday my make up has been pretty standard and I guess todays face off is a variation of that.
I'm currently two shades darker than my usual skin tone, I love it but finding foundation to match has been a struggle because my undertone is so off key. I have been using the NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in Cadiz, even sometimes this looks a little too light - Ah wells, I've been bronzing it up! For concealer I have been using the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Biscuit, again warmer than the shade I usually use. To bronze over my face I have been loving the bronzer from the Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette, it's just such a gorgeous colour for adding warmth to the skin, I also used the blusher from this palette for that touch of colour on the cheeks. To highlight I have been using my Becca Rose Gold Highlighter, the tone of the rose gold works really well at complimenting the tan. On my eyes this week I used the Kevyn Aucoin Essential Eye Palette (3) - the colours are all very neutral and great at working with the natural contours of the eyes. To line my lids I opted for the Urban Decay ink for eyes, this has such a fine nib which allows you to precisely create that perfect flick. Let's talk about lashes, love, love, love the Urban Decay Perversion mascara it's so incredible at creating definition and drama, best of all it can be built up, btw it's blackest of black! I tried something new on the brows, I'm not sure how I feel about it, I think it may be just a little too intense and dark - It's The Body Shop's 2-in-1 smoky liner and brow. I quite like the consistency but to achieve best results I tend to tissue some of the product off before directly applying it to my brows. On the lips I have been keeping things glossy with L'Oreals L'extraordinaire Liquid Lipstick in Nude Ballet, one of the shades Kim K wore on her wedding - I wore this over NARS Rosebud Lip Liner (Not photographed) but I love the rosy, glossy (but not sticky) finish of these two together.
