Splurge Worthy? By Terry Cellularose Brightening CC Lumi-Serum

Let's face it By Terry  is the epitome of luxury - the products are often pricey but there's something so satisfying with a By Terry purchase. Could it be the scent of roses that lures me in? I have no idea! So is the latest Cellularose Brightening CC Lumi Serum (long name alert!) worth the hefty price tag?

The Cellularose Brightening CC Lumi-Serum comes in four shades and I opted for the Apricot Glow which is a universally radiance enhancing tone. When I first applied it I fell in love with the silky, fluid texture - It feels so light and glides effortlessly on to the skin. I have to interrupt myself and just say - The smell? TO DIE FOR? Again like most By Terry products rose is a key ingredient which smells divine. The serum is intended to smooth, plump and brighten the skin prior to the application of foundation. I instantly noticed my skin felt smoother and appeared dewy with a subtle, sophisticated glow. In terms of prolonging the wear of my foundation I don't think this makes much of a difference but it's so beautiful on the skin, that it totally compensates for that.

This product is definitely a little luxury but I know I will be getting much use of this serum in the warmer months - It's so lightweight on the skin and will be staple in my Summer make up bag.

In my opinion it's worth the splurge!

I'm the kind of person that somehow manages to justifies it when it comes to skin care/cosmetics and the fact that this kind of falls in to both categories I guess, it's even more acceptable. The older I get the more I'm trying to hold on to that youthful glow that I always took for granted.

I'll be sure to upload a picture of me wearing this soon!

Lots of Love

  1. Could you wear it on it's own, or does it need something on top for extra coverage? Swatch..? :)

  2. i'd love to see you use this in a video to see how it works!
