March Favourites - The Low Down & The Video

favesm copy

March well and truly welcomed Spring! I found love for a lot of new products and I also decided to throw in a few non beauty favourites this month - I think I might make this a frequent thing, as there is more to Me than make up haha!

A few weeks back I broke out in a terrible allergic reaction on my skin, I think it was the result of an intense sauna/steam session. My skin was so irritable and the only thing that seemed to help was Elizabeth Arden's 8 Hour Cream (Fragrance Free), I love the thick consistency - I literally slather this all over my face! I've also been using it on my lips, I've actually decanted some into a little pot to keep handy on-the-go. I've really enjoyed using the Organix Coconut Milk Protein Serum, it doesn't weigh down my hair, it leaves it looking shiny and feeling smooth! On the fragrance front I've been rotating Trish McEvoys's 9 (Blackberry & Vanilla) and Rihanna Nude - Both are girly, sweet but so easy and effortless to wear. The only nail polish I loved last month was OPI's Red Lights Ahead Where? Although I did film this video before I discovered the L'Oreal Les Blancs collection and Topshop's colourful selection I recently featured. Make up wise there's forever new favourites - I loved Benefits Porefessional Primer you can read my full review HERE. I also fell in love with a BB cream which I never thought would happen! But thanks to Trish McEvoy's Beauty Balm (2) I'm totally converted! I've loved using By Terry's Touch Expert Concealer because it's so lightweight but covers the necessary! Tarte'a Sultry Sunset Palette stole my heart with a gorgeous selection of Spring shades. You probably know by now my mascara of the month had to be GOSH's Boombastic which in my opinion is pretty BADASS! Lips I was loving Illamasqua's Soaked which is an adorable orange so perfect for Spring, the new formula of this is to die for! I also added in two non beauty favourites which were both things I've been enjoying reading one was Women's Health Magazine, I'd never really seen an appeal of this magazine but after flicking through at a friends I was sold! Such a great variety of topics from health, beauty to fashion and food - Defo a good read! The other read was of course Don't Sweat The Small Stuff.. I literally haven't put this book down, reading this has made me approach things in a much more positive way (More on that HERE

What have you loved this month?

Lots of Love

  1. I find this random high lighting and italicising of words so annoying! I read the first line then i just scan through to see if i want to read about any products mentioned. Such a shame, i love how you writr but putting random words in bold has me leaving your page really fast. Im sure you can find other ways to set your style apart that arent annoying and actually have a purpose.
