#FridayFaceOff 12

It's been a little failure on the posts front this weekend -  I've had problems with my internet and I smashed my iPhone so it was RIP to my beloved!  I'd usually be stressing and pulling my hair out at not being able to post - I decided to take a deep breathe and enjoy the long weekend - I went to yoga, I met cousins I hand't seen in years and I ate too much chocolate! I took the pics for #FridayFaceOff  on FRIDAY so I'm just going to pretend the time is now!

I've been incorporating a lot of new products into my make up routine this week and I've introduced some products which are definitely going go stick around! I prepped my skin with MAC's Prep + Prime  Radiant Yellow this is a a gorgeous product for those who have a yellow undertone, it really enhances the skin and makes it look super radiant - the consistency is lovely and lightweight almost like a gel/lotion. For my base I used Kevyn Aucoin's Sensual Skin oh how I adore this product unfortunately I have to mix two shades to get the closest match which is quite costly but OH Boy it's dreamy! (expect a full review soon!) To conceal under my eyes I simply used the MAC Prep + Prime Highligter in Bright Forecast, such an easy product which detracts from darkness.  I set my base with Ben Nye's Banana Powder and warmed up my skin with NARS Laguna. On the apples of my cheeks I applied Tarte Amazonian Clay Blusher in Fearless and highlighted with Kevyn Aucoin's Cellestial Powder. On the eyes I also used this in the inner corners to open out and brighten my eyes. All over the lid I used MAC's Pro Longwear Eye shadow in Make Your Mark - These are lovely, the texture differs just slightly from the regular eyeshadows but the longevity is incredible. I applied thick liner this week using INGLOT's gel liner - I love this and I'd forgotten how much I missed using a brush and gel liner! I opted for Kevyn Aucoin's Essential Mascara as my GOSH Bombastic has become a little thick and out of control. Brows was also Kevyn's Dark Brunette which is becoming my go to for brow pencils, it's so precise and such a great colour. Lips I also applied a Kevyn (noticing a pattern here haha!) Matte lipstick in For Keeps, this is such a pretty nude shade with a peach undertone. I love the creamy consistency of these lipsticks and the long lasting element, just beautiful! Et Voila!

It's been a lot of love for KA this week - I have days like this where I can't get enough of one brand, today was one of those days!

What have you been loving this week?
Lots of love
