Everyday Essentials #10 - The Travel Edition

every

This week I thought I'd do an Everyday Essentials 'Travel Edition'  - I wanted to include some of my must have miniatures and a few full sized favourites that made it in to one of my many travel cosmetics bags on my recent trip.

Anatomicals - Spray Misty for Me
I always have to carry some sort of facial spritz with me when traveling, I often find my skin becomes so dehydrated and this is a quick fix to restore some of that hydration. This one by Anatomicals is a rose based facial mist, rose is beneficial to the skin for so many reasons - it's calming,  naturally anti-bacterial and smells blooming (get it haha) lovely too -  So refreshing!

Heal Gel - Intensive
I swear by this product it's one of those Holy Grail discoveries and will forever be a travelling companion. It's fantastic for calming, cooling and generally healing the skin whatever the problem - Whether its a burn or a bite this miracle product has you sorted.

Algenist - Triple-Action Micropolish & Peel
I got this as a sample and was eager to try this when I was away. When I'm on holiday I really enjoy being able to take time with my skin care/make up regime. I always find after being sat on a plane for however long or short of a journey my skin is ready for some serious saving. This peel is great for renewing the skin and removing dead skin cells. It's lightly exfoliating without feeling overly abrasive on the skin.

Elizabeth Arden - 8 Hour Cream (Fragrance Free)
Boy oh boy, the amount of times this product has saved me whilst travelling - I now vow never to leave the country without it. Use it everywhere, anywhere for whatever - This really is one of the muti purpose wonder products and I can't bear to be without it.

The Body Shop -  Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter
I first used this last year when I spent time in New York and really got on well with this product. It's a buttery, balm that breaks down all make up and cleanses the face really nicely. The packaging is great because, it's flat, not bulky therefore easy to travel with. I will never be one of those girls who can use face wipes so this is the ideal product for me.

Lancome - Bi Facil Make Up Remover
This is hands down the best eye make up remover ever! It will remove even the most stubborn mascara and eyeliners in an instant. I have been sneakily using my mothers since I can remember and this mini size was part of Lancome gift set.

The Body Shop - Shea Body Butter
I mean how can you go wrong with this product, it's like the complete king of body butters! It's one of those products everyones tried right? It's rich, hydrating and leaves the skin feeling fab and smelling great. This was actually out of my Body Shop Christmas Advent Calendar.

Nude - Advanced Renewal Overnight Repair Mask
I love overnight treatments and whilst don't often lug around my lotions and potions when travelling I often opt for sample sizes. Not only does this allow me to try new things it also means I carry less and trust me cutting down on cosmetics is my biggest issue, I'm sure they end up weighing more than everything else! Jokes aside I tried the overnight treatment from Nude whilst away and I really loved it, I'm a Nude fan anyway so didn't think it would let me down. You apply a thick layer of this to the skin and leave it on overnight and was away in the morning. My skin felt smooth, hydrated and looked radiant

Bumble and Bumble - Texture Cream
This is a great product to use before drying and styling your hair, I apply a small amount to damp hair and proceed to blast with a hairdryer. It gives your hair movement, texture and that messy (in a good way) finish.

Label M - Shine Mist
This was in a goody bag from LFW and I decided to give it a try in Barcelona, I was actually really inpressed. I spritzed a small amount on to my hair and it left it looking smooth, glossy and shiny. I also loved how light this felt on my hair, I usually stay clear of a lot of these kind of products because they really do end up weighing down my hair - This didn't and I was pretty impressed

Caudalie - Divine Legs
A great example why samples rock! I got this in the Divine oil gift set at Christmas, this tinted leg moisturiser really gives your pins such a gorgeous glow! It's hydrating because of the Divine Oil which is a product I already adore BUT the colour of this - AHMAZING! It's rich, it's golden and leaves my legs looking as if I spent a week lying on South Beach

Hope you've enjoyed my sneak peak at some of my travel essentials. What do you guys love to travel with?

Lots of Love

  1. Ah travelling and my beauty bag is the bane of my existence. I find it so hard to narrow it down to the things I need!
I always love getting to peek in others bags, it sometimes helps me narrow mine down.
