Spring Picks - The Nail Files

13.3.14

na1

I'm a firm believer in wearing whatever you want whenever you want, but there's something so much more fitting about rocking a bright, bold nail polish when the sun comes out to play. The last few days have been warm, sunny and it's had me reaching for more Spring appropriate tones!

Mavala -  Freshy
A vibrant, eye catching, fuchsia pink - a colour every girl needs in her Spring wardrobe. It's such an easy to wear colour and I especially love this colour on my toes it makes the perfect pedi partner.

Leighton Denny  - Passport to Shine
I'm always a bit iffy with yellow, it's the kind of colour I always want to wear but I don't think I've found the ONE. This yellow is a new release from the Leighton Denny 'International' collection and is the ideal tone to work with my complexion. It's bold, it's striking and it's the kind of colour that makes you HAPPY.

OPI - Red Lights Ahead..Where?
This beautiful coral based red is such a great way to take red's in to Spring. Red is ,without a doubt for every season but I enjoy wearing coral variations in the brighter months. OPI have a great selection of coral based reds another favourite of mine is Cajun Shrimp.

Topshop Nails - Awol
I very rarely frequent the same shade of nail polish but Awol by Topshop is one of those colours that I can't get enough of. It's a bold, bright blue and I love the consistency it's great and surprisingly one coat does the trick!

OPI -  Mod About You
An all time favourite, whatever the weather Mod About You is a colour I will forever have in my nail polish collection, I think it may be the ONLY nail polish I have EVER repurchased. The colour is that perfect milky, pastel, opaque pink which is effortless to wear and works on everyone.

Nails inc - Floral Street
The last year I really rediscovered my love for white polish, I know it's always a Love/Hate thing with white polish and I know it will forever be Tippex-ESQUE, BUT I love it! I like the way it stands out against my skin tone and I know it's a colour I will be rocking this Spring. I also love the consistency of this white, it's not streaky and doesn't chip as easily as some of the others I have tried.

Barry M Gelly Polish -  Lychee
No season is complete without a nude and Lychee by Barry M us already becoming a GO TO nail polish for me, it's a clean, classic colour that looks rather sophisticated on the nails - I adore the gel based finish, it's chip resistant and lasts for days.

Mavala  - Blue CuraƧao
Turquoise tones always get me daydreaming of Summer holidays, it's the ultimate, uplifting colour and I don't think the brighter days are complete with a touch of turquoise.

What are your must have Spring nail picks?

Lots of Love
