Spring Picks - Blushers

It's a Spring Thing, I feel happier, I have more energy, I'm feeling positive - It's definitely a Spring Thing! The last few days of sunshine have made me feel alive! Today I thought what better way to get ready for for the lighter, brighter days than with a Spring clean. By Spring clean (of course) I mean an update of my make up bag! I must a admit I will be sad to say goodbye to the burgundy's and berries that I have loved so much this Winter, but I can't wait to welcome the bright corals, flirty fuchsias and the pretty pinks. Today I have a selection of my CHEEK picks, there's definitely something for everyone!

The Cool Coral - MAC 'Melba'

Melba is my ultimate Spring/Summer blusher! It's the most incredible tone of coral which instantly warms the skin so beautifully. It looks amazing with a tan and really gets the skin glowing. I love that it's a matte blusher because it's perfect to team up with so many tones of highlighters. I first bought Melba around four years ago when I'd heard it was a Kim K fave and those were the days I loved her make up, so it was a no brainer - I have to stay Melba has stuck with me ever since!

can be used on the lips, I do love a good multi purpose product !

The Duo - Illamsaqua Lover, Hussy Blusher Duo

For the make up addict like me duo's are ALWAYS a GOOD idea! I love this one by Illamasqua a pink and a coral - yes please! I mean what more could you want from Spring make up. The pigments of the Illamasqua blushers are great, they stay put for hours and I adore how both of these shades work well with warmer skin tones.

The Cream - Kevyn Aucoin The Creamy Glow 'Liquifuschia'

Now cream blushers aren't for everyone, I too have a love/hate relationship with them - BUT there's something so refreshing about wearing a cream blush in Spring. I love the dewy finish with that lovely hint of colour. Liquifuschia adds brightness to your cheeks and has the perfect powder like finish. These are great because they

The Perfect Pink - NARS 'Gaiety'

The prettiest pink blusher I own, as much as I fell in love with the colour I really didn't think it would be one to suit my complexion - Wrong! Gaiety is so beautiful on the skin it really brightens up your face with a soft, subtle sweep of pink. It's one of those colours that can instantly lift you and I love it.

The Rosy Red -  Tarte Amazonian Clay Blusher 'Natural Beauty'

Rumour has it Tarte is making it's way to the UK (QVC to be precise) I can't quite contain my excitement because I'm such a huge fan! This blusher was actually a gift from my friend Chloe - 'Natural Beauty' appears vibrant and strong in colour in the pan however once applied it's a gorgeous, effortless rosy red which leaves your cheeks looking naturally flushed. Another thing I adore about Tarte's blushers is that they stay put ALL DAY!

What are your current must have blushers for Spring, these are currently my favourites and come to think of it - They're all matte! There's something so exciting about updating your make up bag ready for a new season, I love the change in tones, textures and finishes.

I am definitely Spring ready!? What about you lot?
