Sometimes all it takes is a good book and some fresh flowers to make you feel better.
Despite constantly writing and frequenting the internet on the daily I don't find myself a big reader - There are a number of reasons why - Firstly I don't actually, ever find the time to sit down and get lost within a book and secondly I find it really hard to stay stimulated by a book.
'Don't sweat the small stuff..' has been my absolute saviour lately, I've been feeling a little down and disheartened not quite sure why? but this book has been an instant lift, a real pick me up - It's the kind reading that makes you feel better from the inside. I've been lost in the pages of this book all weekend, I simply open it anywhere and read the simple yet, significant teachings.
OK.. So it is a SELF-HELP book but not like others I've read before, it's less about preaching and more about understanding, acknowledging and seeing things in a positive light. I know I am one that gets completely, utterly stressed over such minor things and this book makes you realise that it's not worth it - it's effective reading that has you questioning why?
I have most definitely been Loving/Reading this book since I got it earlier this week and I thought it might be a good one for some of you who also find yourself 'sweating the small stuff' because in hindsight it really is ALL small stuff and stressing over it really isn't worth it!
