Finally Friday and BOY do I need it, it's been such a long week - I actually don't think I've recovered from LFW, it's really taken it's toll on me this season - I must be getting too old for it haha! Nevertheless the weekend is here, I am going to make sure it's a low key one - All I want is a weekend in my onesie, accompanied by movies and food! So if you need me I'll be moulded in the sofa with little intention to move! Another week and another #FridayFaceOff - I am really enjoying these, it forces me to be a little more adventurous with my make up and make use of my forever, expanding collection!

Today I wanted my make up to be easy and effortless. I am still using the MAC Prep and Prime CC cream to prime my skin it's smooth and really evens out the tone of my skin - I had my make up done by a MAC senior artist at LFW and she used this on my skin too. It was essential to hide the tiredness this week my bags were pretty horrific - I knew it would only call for one thing - By Terry's Éclat de Teint in Halogen Apricot, this is ideal at brightening the under eye area, adding instant radiance - trust me this was much needed. Giorgio Armani Luminous silk was my foundation of choice just because it's so effortless to apply and so easy to wear. To conceal I wanted to keep the skin looking radiant so I opted for the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. I softly dusted some MAC CC Setting Powder all over then applied a touch of colour to my cheeks using MAC All's Good - I adore this blusher so much, I hate that it was limited edition it's #hashtagAMAZE it's unusually rosey on the cheeks which looking at it you wouldn't have thought, it's such great for warmer skin tones. I highlighted using Kevyn Aucoin's Cellestial Powder (obviously!) Now the exciting part - I used the Smashbox Full Exposure Palette which I have been rocking all week, it's beauty still mesmerises me and they've been such a pleasure to work with. I ALWAYS curl my lashes with Shu Uemura lash curlers they are the best and I totally can't live without them, I tried the mini Smashbox mascara that came with the palette which was pretty impressive! For liner of course I used my L'oreal Superliner Perfect Slim - great for creating that feline flick. I wanted quite a nude lip and used the NYX Soft Matte lip cream in Abu Dhabi - I bought this in New York and I adore these lip creams. The texture is smooth, easy to apply and of course has the perfect matte, long lasting finish. The colour is gorgeous it's almost a peach meets cafe au lait kind of colour - love.

Hope you guys have had a good week? What have you been using and loving this week? Hope you all have a fabulous weekend

Oh and..
'Don't forget to be awesome!'

Lots of love

  8. The Smashbox looks amazing that's why I bought it; I detest it with all of my being. So sad, it is that bad.

  9. The Smashbox palette is beautiful and I love the amount of matte shades in it. I just can't justify purchasing another neutral palette at the moment but it be a great gift!
