It’s Friday already? As if, I feel like this week has flown by but I also feel like it’s been a long week. This week saw me say goodbye to 3 inches of my hair but I embraced it and now you're saying hello to this new shorter do! There’s something about changing my hair that usually has me wanting to change my make up. I haven't had the chance to have a play with make up, it's been a bit of a hectic week, I'm hoping there's plenty of time to play this weekend!

I prepped my skin with the Shu Uemura Instant Glow as I do most days, I had been using the NEW MAC CC Primer but I actually left it downstairs and surprise surprise I was too lazy to go get it! I blogged about this a few days ago, it launches in March and really is amazing. For my base I used my GA Luminous Silk, I am slightly attached to this foundation right now so expect to see it in a lot of #FACEOFFS! To conceal I wanted something light, not only light in texture but something that would add brightness so I opted for By Terry's Touch Expert. My dark circles are pretty horrific at the moment and whilst this isn’t the best concealer for coverage I really didn’t want to end up looking super caked. To contour I decided to use Kevyn Aucoins Sculpting Powder in Medium, I haven’t posted about this product on here but it’s honestly such an incredible shade, it mimics natural shadow so well and is perfect for getting that defined, sculpted look. I applied MAC’s Melba blush which is the prettiest matte peach blusher which has such a gorgeous tone of pink to it. I only really wear this with a tan but I was in major need of something to brighten my morning. Obviously I highlighted with Kevyn’s Cellestial Powder in ‘Candlelightnot photographed here - Apologies, but y’all know the deal! For my eye make up I applied MAC’s Mystery  all over my lid it’s a matte, slightly khaki based brown. To soften it I applied MAC- Sketch in the crease and blended up. L’Oreal’s SuperLiner Perfect Slim is my GO-TO eyeliner of the moment, it’s long lasting, it’s easy to use and it’s super black. I decided to try a new mascara I had sitting in one of my drawers, I had purchased this in New York back in December - I’m a sucker for marketing and hot poster girls, so I'd give Covergirl - Flared Out mascara it a go - It's OK, not as dramatic as I like my mascaras to be then again when mascaras are new I never really like them anyway. Lips I kept it nude and simple, I filled in my lips with NARS Rosebud lip liner, this is the perfect pouty pink colour which isn't too far from the colour of my lips. I then applied Kevyn Aucoins lip gloss in Lilium all over.

What have you been loving/using this week?

Have a great weekend

Lots of Love
