Everyday Essentials #3 - LFW Edition

Happy Sunday honeys! I hope you've all had a great weekend, I can't believe it's almost over. Like, seriously where does the time go? For today's Everyday Essentials I thought I would do a LFW special edition, these are some of the key things I carry with me when I'm on-the-go, running between shows. This year I feel a little more organised and wanted to share some of my Essentials.

Show Tickets - As silly as this sounds, this is typically something I'd forget - I'm usually thinking about a million and one things so I literally have to write a tick off list and trust me tickets are number one!

iPad - I often find myself with breaks in-between shows so having my iPad means I can start writing posts, watch live fashion streams and generally do whatever else one does on an iPad - Much easier than carrying around my MacBook.

Diary - This is always with me but definitely an essential for Fashion Week, it has all my show schedules in and just helps me to stay organised in case my phone fails me (which it often does)

Notebook - I am never without a notebook, actually most days I carry more than one. I'm forever writing things down whether it be things to remember, to do lists or ideas for blogposts I HAVE to write it down. I find nothing more satisfying then being able to physically cross things off.

Business Cards - You never know who you may meet, every opportunity is a chance to network and meet new people. Having business cards with you is professional and a great way to keep in touch with new contacts, nothing more embarrassing than being asked for a business card and not having one. (In all fairness these never leave my purse!)

Phone - Such a no brainer, whether it's Tweeting, Instagramming or Facebooking my phone never leaves my hand, let alone my bag at Fashion Week - It's glued to me!

Charger - Anyone who owns an iPhone will know how imperative it is to keep a charger with you at all times, I refuse to leave the house without one. It's even more important when you spend the day snapping pics and actively updating social media. I know within an hour of being at Fashion Week my battery has significantly reduced. I always find a spot in the media suites somewhere to plug my phone in and give it that much needed charge.

Camera - Most of the time at LFW I'm backstage covering make up trends, so I have to have my camera with me pretty much all time. I sometimes wonder if I would lug it around if I was just going to watch a show and I don't think I would. I do feel that because I am contasntly snapping away I don't get to fully enjoy and appreciate the shows. The shows I decide to put down my camera I feel so much more engaged in.

Make Up Bag - Believe it or not, but I never carry a make up bag around with me. I tend to just throw a lipstick in my bag and voila! Other than the quick toilet breaks I don't find myself with enough time to touch up my make up. I just keep a few essentials a lipstick of choice, my MAC studio fix powder, my MAC 109 brush which I adore for powder. For fragrance I keep Malin +Goetz Dark Rum  which smells absolutely divine and the size is perfect to carry around. I usually have a mini Umberto Giannini Backcomb in a Bottle to give my hair a little bit of a boost after most likely being rained on and lastly Rodial's Glam Balm Multi, which pretty much does everything - such a handbag essential!

These are my typical Everyday Essentials for LFW. Have any of you been to Fashion Week? I do think the novelty wears off after years of attending, but then I try to be grateful and appreciate these opportunities. I was a young girl who dreamed of watching fashion shows and now I'm doing it so I will always be thankful for that.

Hope you've had a great weekend.

Lots of Love
