For day 2 of my #7Days7Ways challenge with Umberto Giannini I recreated this 'Messy Boho' look. It's an easy to create, effortless to wear, chic hairstyle and is the perfect follow on from the 'Free Flowing Texture' look.
I created my 'Messy Boho' the day after I had styled my hair in the 'Free Flowing Tetxure' look, my hair still had a lot of body to it but the waves had loosened - it was the perfect base to start with. To give my hair a bit of an added lift I applied the 'Morning After Dry Shampoo' which is a fabulous product as it doesn't leave that powder white finish. I then sprayed some of the 'Backcomb in a Bottle' for further volume. I teased the top section of my hair using a comb and then used my fingers to pull my hair forward and across the face, I wanted to keep the look loose and free flowing so using my hands was best. I secured this section by using a few hair grips to hold it in place at the side.
For a little bit more of an edge, I teased the tips to create that tougher, messy movement to the hair.
I love this hair style, it's so easy to create and is minimal fuss -PERFECT for when you're having a bad hair day -You simply sweep the hair across the face and secure!
For a talk through on how to create this look check out the video below.
Another great thing about this look was that I used no heat to style my hair! I'm not too adventurous with my hair but creating this look how showed me how quick and easy it is to change things up a little - and a little change is always good!

What do you think of this look? Would you wear your hair like this?
Lots of Love
