Hollywood Siren was the fourth look of Umberto Giannini's #7Days7Ways challenge and this was by far my favourite. It was probably the hardest style to recreate but the final look was definitely worth it! It was super glam, sassy and very 1940's. I absolutely adored this look, it's perfect for trying out a short do for the day.
To create this look I begun by washing my hair with Umberto Giannini's 'Ditch the Dirt Shampoo and the Plump Up Your volume conditioner'. I then rough dried my hair, sprayed in some 'Backcomb in a Bottle' and carried on by blowdrying my hair using a large round brush. This created volume but also meant that my hair was smooth and sleek.
Once blow-dried I applied some 'Backcomb in the Bottle' to my fingertips and roughed this through my roots. I then sectioned my hair and used straighteners to create ringlet curls. I then pinned these and let my hair set for about an hour. Once I released the clips the curls were perfect, I think the shorter layers in my hair worked really well with this look. To finish up I added a final spritz of 'Backcomb in a Bottle' so that the volume would hold.
This was definitely so much fun to wear and it almost had me consider a short hair cut!
