Umberto Giannini #7Days7ways - Free Flowing Texture
Today I bring you the first of seven hair posts in collaboration with Umberto Giannini and their #7days7ways campaign. I was invited to recreate the 7 hair styles of Tali Lennox (the face of the campaign) using products from the Glam range by Umberto Giannini. Today I present to you 'Free Flowing Texture'.
Out of the 7 looks this was probably the easiest for me to recreate as it's an exaggerated variation of my everyday hairstyle. I love the added volume and movement to my hair, all thanks to a bit of 'Backcomb In a Bottle'!
I started off by washing my hair with the Umberto Giannini 'Ditch The Dirt Volume Shampoo' and the 'Plump & Sexy Volume Conditioner', both of these products smell incredible and left my hair feeling soft and looking glossy. I then rough dried my hair with a hairdryer and proceeded to curl/wave my hair using flat irons.
Once I had thrown a few curls in I flipped my hair upside down and sprayed a generous amount of Umberto Giannini's cult classic 'Backcomb In A Bottle' (Can I just say, this products smells of candy floss - it's amazing!). I concentrated the product to the roots of my hair, scrunching it in to encourage more of a lift - I then blasted my hair with the hairdryer. The volume was incredible and the 'Backcomb In A Bottle' really gave my hair that Va Va Voom!
I parted my hair to the side and decided to create more definition and texture by teasing sections of my hair and VOILA - Free Flowing Texture!
I absolutely love how it turned out and how effortless this style looks!
For a run through on how I created this look you can also check out my YouTube video below.
Have any of you tried the Umberto Giannini's Backcomb In A Bottle? Or any of the glam range? Will you be recreating this look? Join me on the #7Days7Ways challenge!
Lots of Love
