You know no holiday for me is complete without seeing what the local drugstores have to offer. When I was in Croatia last week, I headed to 'Bila' (A Boots equivalent) to have a little mooch around. I was really impressed with the selection of brands, products and prices. I picked up a few things and thought I would share them with you, as some of you in Europe might be able to get hold of these and I think they are great.
This multi purpose balm has quite literally been my best friend over the last week. I love the texture, the smell and the way it leaves my skin feeling super soft. I have been using this primarily on my lips and it really has worked wonders. I had left all my lip balms in London? How? I have no idea? So this was literally a life saver!
I'm not going to lie the packaging totally had me sold, I loved how pretty it was and also the fact that the primary ingredient is almond oil. I love the smell of almond oil and how deeply it nourishes my skin, again I'd forgotten all hand cream in London (Seriously, I don't know what I actually packed!) this has now found a well deserved place in my handbag.
I also purchased a Labello lip butter (which is essentially Nivea)and a Maybelline lip balm I've never seen these in the UK (Correct me, if I'm wrong!) I haven't used these yet, but I mean a girl can never have too many lip balms right? No matter how many I own I can never seem to find one when I need one!
Do you guys enjoy checking out drugstores in different countries? It's annoying though, when you get attached to something that you can't purchase it in your country! I had the best time in Croatia, the country is so beautiful and peaceful - It was nice to just spend a few days disconnected from the hustle and bustle of London, up in the mountains with fresh air and killer views - Couldn't be any further from where I am right now!
I also bought a few nail polishes which no doubt, I will be sharing soon!
Lots of Love
