(161) The ShuiQi Spa at The Atlantis, Dubai

The ShuiQi spa at the Atlantis is one of the most tranquil and relaxing spas I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. From the moment I walked in I instantly felt an incredible amount zen and all my worries and woes had been left at the door. 

The staff were so welcoming and made the whole experience even more wonderful. I was given a tour of the spa and again this was another aspect of The Atlantis that didn't fail my expectations. 

I was treated to an hour long body massage and my therapist Eda was amazing. I have never felt fully relaxed the way I did when she was massaging me. Every inch of my body was loosened and I felt freed from all stress and tension that had built up in my body. From my head to my toes Eda massaged my body with warm Aromatherapy Associates oil and by the time the hour had passed I could barely move my body was so relaxed. Having massages is something I rarely do, other than when I'm on holiday. In day to day life I hardly have the time to fit in massages, but after this experience it made me wonder why? 

After my massage I was led to a relaxation room and given a mint tea, I sat so peacefully just wanting to drift into a deep sleep, it was heavenly. It really was 'A journey into another world'. 

The ShuiQi spa was a fantastic experience and I urge any of you staying in Dubai to head down and treat yourself to a massage. I can't praise Eda my therapist enough. Check out all the amazing treatments they offer HERE. 

If I had more time to spare I would have taken advantage of the jacuzzi, sauna and steam room facilities, that the ShuiQi spa provides. It's situated in such a quiet, tranquil part of the hotel that you honestly feel as if you are in a dream. I was glowing after my massage I felt great from the inside out!
