Over the last few weeks I have noticed real differences in my skin. I think all my travels and the changes in weather along my trip really took it's toll on my skin. I have noticed it to be dull, lacking in hydration and generally tired.
When I was sent over the new Vichy LiftActiv Serum 10 I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to introduce a serum to my skin care routine. This isn't a review post but more so a post to let you know a little bit more about it.
Although wrinkles aren't really a primary concern for me the fact that my skin is showing signs of ageing is becoming an issue. The thing that I like about this serum is that it is really lightweight and absorbs really well in to the skin. I am someone that like minimal fuss when it comes to skincare and I like to keep it simple.
The ingredient that makes this serum effective is 'Rhamnose' which is a sugar derivative that helps keep the skin youthful by reactivating the dermis resulting in a more lifted appearance. This serum is also rich in hylauronic acid which keeps the skin hydrated and plump leaving the skin rejuvenated. One thing that I really like is that this serum is suitable for all skin types even the most sensitive and is paraben free. I am leaning more towards products without parabens so this is definitely a good start.
The Vichy serum is really reasonably priced at £29.50 and available from Boots HERE.
I will be letting you know how this works for me over the course of the next few months. I will also be doing an updated skin care routine post so look out for that.
Have any of you tried anything from the Vichy range? What are your thoughts? Do you guys use a serum in your current skincare regime?
Lots of Love
