[182] The House of RUSH

On Saturday I was invited down to the new and very swanky 'House of Rush' salon in London's Piccadilly. My hair was in desperate need of a lift, after travelling for the last 6 weeks and not being able to take full care of my hair it was definitely in need of some TLC. The salon itself is very lavish, the decor is gorgeous and very Parisian inspired I almost felt like I was in a Boudoir.

The whole experience was fabulous from the salon to the service. Rosie my stylist was amazing, I loved how I sat down and she made me feel totally comfortable. We were chatting away as if we'd known each other for years, I think having that connection with your stylist is really important. When Rosie showed me the back of my hair I couldn't believe how long it had got, I very rarely see my hair from the back and the front is shorter so I never realised it was so long. Here are some before pictures..

As you can see my hair was looking long, lifeless and a bit lank. After talking it through with Rosie I was confident that we were both on the same page and she had envisioned exactly what I wanted. Rosie kept my length long and cut some more layers throughout to create volume and movement. I really loved what she did with the fringe and the way she cut further in to the sides. Instead of the fringe being straight and blunt, she softened it by rounding it which I feel frames my face a lot better. It's amazing how small changes like that really change a hair cut.

My hair honestly felt amazing, so light and bouncy and to be honest with the layers and the shape I actually feel as if my hair is longer. I can't explain how much healthier it looks and feels.

The lovely Keith and my fab stylist Rosie

The overall experience at the 'House of RUSH' was great, I felt the staff were fantastic and I was so happy with my haircut. I will definetly go back, prices start from £49 for a haircut. The 'House of RUSH' also provide numerous beauty services to see more of what they offer check out the site HERE

Have any of you had your haircut at a RUSH salon before? Will you be visiting the 'House of RUSH'? Have any of you recently had your hair done? What looks are you rocking for winter?

Lots of Love
