[129] No!No! 8800 Hair removal kit

Hey lovelys today I wanted to do a post on a the No!No! 8800 hair removal kit. This machine was sent to me and I have to say I am pretty happy that I will be reviewing it. I had previously read about the No!No!, seen it on QVC and in Selfridges and wondered to myself whether or not it was as good as the reviews suggest. More importantly I was interested in whether or not the No!No! was a solution for long term hair removal.

The No!No! 8800 hair removal machine uses Thermicon technology to reduce hair growth, the idea is that the hair removal process is pain free and long lasting. It is suitable for all skin types and this particular model (8800) is safe to use for both face and body.

To understand the method of Thermicon Technology I headed over to the No!No! website and this is what it said..

Thermicon™ works on the thermal principle of heat transference. A gentle pulse of heat is conducted down the hair follicle. The hair is then separated close to the skin while the signal continues to travel down into the follicle where hair growth takes place. The more often this happens, the more effective the treatment is.

I'm not afraid to admit that I am hairy and no stranger to waxing, threading, shaving - You name it I've tried it. Most of the hair removal processes I have tried are temporary and this is the first time I am using something that is set to significantly reduce hair growth on a more permanent basis. It is clinically proven that the No!No! reduces hair growth by 94% - Bring it on I say! The suggested use of the No!No! is 2-3 times a week for a duration of 6-8 weeks, I will be attempting to blog on my experience with the No!No! each week over the next two months.

The machine itself is very easy to use and lightweight I also like the fact that it makes no noise unlike all those scary epilators out there. Another thing I love is the fact that it's PINK..(Had to add that in there!). The design of the machine also makes it great to travel with and as it's cordless it's even easier to use.

Before using it for the first time the No!No! needed about a 5 hour charge, the LCD display and instructions are very easy to use. You simply switch it on and adjust the heat level to suit, I started off using the No!No! on the lowest heat setting.

The idea is that you use the rollerball to glide along the skin, you must ensure the skin is held tight otherwise I found the machine shudders. There was no discomfort when using the No!No!, it just feels slightly warm on the skin. I have to say you can smell burning and at first I was a little worried but then went on to read that this is totally normal and obviously a sign to indicate that it's working.

Once using the No!No! on the desired area you then have to buff the hairs off which the provided pad. I found once buffing away my skin was left super soft and I could notice that it had removed the hairs. I do find in general my hair growth is very fast so I haven't noticed a decrease in the growth over this week. Although I must say I have noticed that the hairs feel a lot finer and not as coarse when they've begun to grow back.

I have also used the No!No! on my face and although at first I was slightly hesitant to it worked really well. My face looks a lot brighter since using the No!No! and that was something I noticed almost immediately. You have to use the No!No! in the same way, ensuring you go against the direction of hair growth, you then buff away.

So far I am quite impressed but also curious to see how the No!No! works over the next few weeks for me.

Have any of you tried the No!No!? Or similar long term hair removal? How did you find them?

To find out more about the NoNo you can visit their website HERE which is pretty informative. Alternately click HERE to watch video demonstrationS of the No!No!.

The machine is priced at £193.50 but if it means no hair no more I think it's a small price to pay, it can be purchase at QVC, Selfridges and Harrods. You can also purchase a small kit which is better suited for use on the face and bikini line.

Until next week..
Lots of Love

  11. This product looks fabulous. I would love to try this one. If you have facial hairs and leg hairs that you want to remove, you can actually shave them or you can try laser hair removal. It's effective and pain-free procedure. By the way, I look forward to seeing this product.
