Last week I attended a great event for Filthy Gorgeous nails. The event was held to celebrate their collaboration with Liza Smith. For those who don't know who Liza is, she is a super talented manicurist who has won various prizes and is well known for her work in fashion and print with the likes of Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Calvin Klein amongst others. Not to mention her  A-list celebrity clients, Liza has worked with the likes of Victoria Beckham, Jennifer Lopez, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and others. I have to say meeting Liza was a breath of fresh air, it was amazing to be around someone so inspiring and successful. We all sat around, talked nails, celebrities, colours and trends. I really had a great night, big thanks to Filthy Gorgeous and Liza Smith.

If you read my blog regularly you will know about my love for nail polish and well I was sent away with lots of Filthy Gorgeous colours to try. How bold and beautiful are these colours. They are so perfect for summer and I can't wait to get creative and colour blocking with these polishes.

I was also talking to Adam the founder of Filthy Gorgeous and telling him about my hunt for that perfect, milky pink nail polish. The next day in the post I received this beauty 'Blancmange' although it's not what I had in mind I absolutely love it. It is so unbelievably pretty and I can't believe how long it lasted on my nails. My mum even got me to paint her nails with this. I think this is definitely a hit colour for me this spring summer. It's a change from my usual bold colours, its girly and a change from the colours I usually select, subtle and very sweet. I love the lilac hint to this nail polish, which I find is quite different from your usual pink polish.

  9. I love your blog btw! I'm not sure if this is the same pink you have in mind, but my favorite pale pink nail polish is Orly "Kiss the Bride". It also is opaque too which isn't common for a lot of light pinks :)
