New to Illamasqua and the Toxic Tale collection are the gorgeous cream pigments. Some of you may have already read about these but I thought I would do a quick post dedicated to these little wonders. The new cream pigments come in six 'Neo-toxic' matte shades, they can be used on the face, body and hair to create amazing textures. The consistency of these pigments is creamy but not slippery if that makes sense, there are less oils in this product so the finish on the skin is matte.
I was given 'Dab' and 'Hollow' in my goody bag. I will most likely be using these as eyeshadow bases as they really hold powder and loose pigments very well. 'Dab' is a very pretty lilac and 'Hollow' is kind of a swampy taupe. One of the MUA from Illamasqua was telling us how amazing 'Hollow' is when it's used to contour. It is probably a little too light for me but I really can see how this product would be great for creating that sculpted look. The swatches of the colours are really intense and I only applied such a little amount.
What do you guys think of these pigments? Will you be checking them out? The consistency and the finish is so different to Illamasaqua's iconic liquid metals but definitely worth checking out and having a play with! One of the new cream pigments is called 'MOULD' Oh how I wish I got that one.. Mould for Mouldy!
Toxic Nature is available online now and on counters this week!
Lots of Love..
