[031] Oh My 'GOSH'

1.3.11

Could it be? A drugstore replacement for MAC's liquidlast liner?

I still don't know if the rumours about MAC's liquidlast liner being discontinued are true? It's an eyeliner I occasionally like to wear, I usually always have a back up in my make up drawers. The reason I chose it over my usual gel liner by Shu Uemura is because MAC's liquidlast is super intense and it quite simply just doesn't budge! I also like the brush applicator, it's obviously not to everyones liking but I've been using it for years and think I've got the hang of using it and winging it just the way I like it.

A friend of mine recommended GOSH's Extreme Artliner to me as an alternative to MAC. The packaging and the brush itself are almost identical. It really is very similar to the MAC liquidlast for a minute I forgot I was using GOSH's liner.

The intensity of the black liner was blacker than black and I love that, it also stayed place all night and way into the early hours of the morning. Usually my eyeliner tends to rub off from the inner corners of my eye and this one did not fail me at all.

I have to say it took me at least a month to try and get hold of this eyeliner in 'Black 07' from Superdrug it's almost impossible! At the moment it's on promotion and is currently half price it was around £4.

Have you dolls tried any of the GOSH Extreme Artliners? What do you think? What are your favourite eyeliners? I like to use all types, Gel, Liquid and Pencils! I am always up for trying new brands, the blacker the better!

  10. I remember a lady at my local drugstore told me GOSH was comparable to MAC, but I didn't believe her. She must have been right, so I'll have to test out some GOSH products. I've been using Clinque Brush-On Cream Liner in True Black as well as NYX Liquid Liner in Black. :)

  11. I've got the GOSH eye liner pen which is such a nice black and really quick drying. Prefer eyeliners with a thicker nib so this one is def for me!

  12. this eyeliner looks awesome! my favorite eyeliner to use is the Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner in black ink. she also has a bunch of colored ones that are beautiful--ivy shimmer and chocolate shimmer are really nice.

  17. I love these! They do not budge at all. I bought a browny looking colour but it actually applies more coppery. I heard a rumour that GOSH are pulling out of Superdrug but I'm not sure if it's true.

I was surprised at how long these lasted but I find it a bit of an effort to get a thin line with them.

  18. Zara, this eyeliner sounds promising! I was using Urban Decay's Liquid eye liner & Bourjois's Liner Pinceau. All liquids, I know. But have recently got into gel liners. I've been trying out Maybelline's new gel liner. it is super black and I absolutely love it, and this stuff doesn't budge at all. Major love for gel liners. xoxo

  19. The liquidlast are on the Goodbye section of MAC's website at the moment if you want to stock up. The Superslick liners have replaced them, have you tried them? I think the formula is much nicer.

  20. Sounds fab! I'll definitely try to hunt this one down although GOSH are poorly understocked in Superdrug - I've been after a cream eye pencil for months which they do not have in stock ever. I've even tried Westfield's branch. Poor!

I always use the L'Oreal one by the way. The special offer price sounds great!
