Hey lovelies - Happy Friday! Is it me or has this week been such a drag, Thank god it's the weekend. Last night I washed my hair and did my weekly hair mask. It then occured to me that I have been using this product for a while now and even though I have previously posted on it, I still think it deserves a place on my Christmas Countdown. It has been an absolute god send to me and my hair over the last year or so and I have noticed a huge difference since using it. This is a pretty rich hair mask so I wouldn't recommend it if your hair is very fine, however for normal to thick hair this works like a dream. Like I said I use this weekly on my hair, when I first begun using the 'Creme de Coco masque' my hair was in pretty bad condition from years of colouring it, so I used this twice a week. After about two months of using it I felt that once a week was enough to maintain my hair at its newly healthy state. As a result of using this mask I feel my hair is much better and with a regular hair cut every 6-8 weeks I can see and feel that the condition has improved dramatically! I don't have a picture before I started using the Creme De Coco mask but here's my hair today, after using the mask last night.
On to the mask itself, for those of you that haven't read my previous post or anything about this mask before it is GORGEOUS. It smells divine like coconut and vanilla, the smell actually takes me back to my childhood.
You apply a generous amount to wet hair and leave it in for around 7-10 minutes and then wash it out. When I use it I tend not to use a conditioner because it can weigh down my hair too much. I tend to concentrate applying the product on to the ends of my hair and tie it up in a towel for around 10 mins. This is fantastic if you are using heat quite often on your hair it really helps to condition it and leaves it feeling super soft. I honestly can't rave enough about this hair mask I look forward to doing every week. I like the fact it's in a tube as well I always find when hair products are in a tub I end up being wasteful. At £19 it's a great treat, I'm on my second tube now the first one lasted me just over 3 months.
