08 Countdown to Christmas - Pigment Ft MAC

8.12.10

Yesterday I was Christmas shopping in Westfield and I popped into MAC to pick up a present for someone. It has honestly been so long since I've been to a MAC store so I decided to have a look around. One of the make up artists was wearing the most gorgeous, bronzey blusher and when I asked her what she was wearing she told me it was Bronzer with Tan pigment over it.

'Tan' pigment is a rich, copper colour with speckles of gold shimmer shot through it, on the skin it has the most beautiful peach undertone.

Now usually I overlook the pigments because I've bought them in the past and I've never really put them to good use. I would have put this on my Xmas list as yesterday I did NOT allow myself to purchase anything for me. However my fiance secretly bought it for me and suprised me at home :)!

Today I had to wear it, not only did I use it as a highlighter to my bronzer I also used it on my eyes. On the eyes I used MAC's Paint in Bare Canvas as a base and the pigment took really well to it. I contrasted this with NARS Nightbreed,(a black with silver shimmer) to smoke it out. I can't believe how gorgeous this pigment is, I am so happy I've found it!

As a highlighter or combined with bronzer/blusher you really achieve that goddess bronzed glow. I will post further pics over the weekend, I took these pictures after an evening at work and my face looked eugh.

Anyways.. I really suggest this for some seasonal shimmer. I can see this colour working well on the majority of skin tones but most definetley olive/warmer skin tones as it really compliments the complexion. This has to be one for the Christmas list!
